Check out what we got. The Huntsville Public Library (HPL) has more than just books. But for this article we will focus on reading material that you can read at HPL and also take out.

Now to say we have a wide selection of reading material is, let’s just say…an understatement of gargantuan proportions.

Our literary tour at HPL starts when you walk in and to your right, we have our new book section. This selection of new books includes fiction and non-fiction alike. Books such as cooking, crafts, self-help, new romance and crime fiction to name just a few.

Now, If you are looking for LARGE print books, we have an entire section allocated to larger print books, so you don’t have to strain your eyes by ‘squinting’ getting though your favorite read.

When you visit us at HPL, did you know that we get the newspaper from Monday to Saturday (the Toronto Star and Globe and Mail) so you can get caught up on the news of the day? Oh and don’t forget the crosswords and Saturday comics…a personal favorite of mine.

If a casual read is more your pace, check out our extensive magazine section. A wide variety of differing interest including outdoors, lifestyle, pop-culture, world & social commentary, crafts and hobbies and so much more.

For the person who likes to just pop a CD into a player and listen to your favorite audio book, our collection of CD-based audio books boasts something for everyone’s taste and interests.

There is so much more we can share with you; our paperback sections, romance and mysteries, graphic novels, and the Huntsville Historical section.

To check out all of this and what else we have to offer, why not just come on by HPL and check it out for yourself? We would love to see you.
